Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Carson's pre-school had a field trip last week to "Grandpa's Farm" in Dixon. It was a little farther than I wanted to drive, but well worth it! We took a little hay ride to the pumpkin patch where the kids actually picked a pumpkin then took a walk through the hay maze. After the maze we went to the barn to see all the animals. Since it is warmer here animals have their babies in the late summer/early fall apparently. There were so many cute ones! Tiny tiny baby goats, piglets  a calf, ducklings, bunnies, kittens, and sheep. The kids were allowed to pet all of them. For Carson's first ever field trip it was an awesome one!
