I'm not gonna lie, The Host is just okay as of now. I'll let you know what I think after I read the second half. Kinda disappointed Stephenie.

This week

I am dying to write and post pictures of Annie and Cody's wedding this weekend, but I of course forgot my camera. So, now I am at the mercy of others who were there. When I get some pictures from them I will post about it. Baby news... I just finished up my 13th week. Fetus now is 3 inches long and what is new this week...It has finger prints. How cool is that? I am feeling much better. Still sick, but better. I'm starting to show too, much to the surprise of my family this past weekend. Here is a drawing of what it looks like.

Monterey & Carmel

A month or so ago Steve and I realized that we hadn’t gone any where in a while. We live in such an amazing place so we decided to plan a trip to somewhere near by. One of my favorite spots in California is Monterey/Carmel and Steve had never been. So this weekend we had our trip. It was so nice to get away and not have to drive too far to get there. We started our trip Friday at the Monterey Aquarium. Let me tell you- it is a pretty good one. I liked the jelly fish the best. They are so amazing to watch. After the aquarium we drove the on the 17 mile drive through Pebble Beach. It was so beautiful! I don’t know what I liked better, the ocean or all of the incredible houses. The contrasting colors between the golf courses and water is spectacular!

Saturday we spent the day in Carmel walking on the beach and exploring the town. We also went to the Carmel mission. I swear, anyone who went to 4th grade in California has a love for the California missions. That’s all you learn about for a year. Steve was a little hesitant, but thought the mission was pretty cool. It was a short trip, but so nice to get away. I guess we better do all we can before the baby comes.

It’s week 12 now. I am feeling a little better, but still get sick. I am crossing my fingers that in a few more weeks I’ll be feeling much better.
