Yosemite & Bass Lake

We've wanted to do Yosemite for the past few years, but hadn't because things kept coming up. We booked this trip a year ago (before my pregnancy) and even though I only had 5 weeks to go we decided to go anyway. Steve's parents flew in and came with us, which made it that much more fun. We stayed at our timeshare in Bass Lake (only 15 minutes from the entrance to the park.) It was a great spot because we were able to enjoy both Yosemite and Bass Lake.

It was the perfect time of year to be there. The weather was divine and it wasn't too crowded. This week all national parks are closed because of government issues so we really lucked out. We did as much hiking and exploring as we could with a two-year-old, a 9-month pregnant lady, and a man who just had his hip replaced. Needless to say none of us were in a hurry! Here are a few pictures from our trip.

**Yosemite Valley

 **Bridal Veil Fall

 **The view after the tunnel

**Wildlife: It was amazing how tame the deer were! They would just walk right up to you, not scared at all.

 **Tee Pees

 **Bass Lake

**Lewis Creek Trail & Old Log Bridge

**Serious Lego building at night. (Well, serious once the boys went to sleep and Steve could build castles without help...)

**Plenty of pool and playtime around the condo. I even got an hour uninterrupted to layout and read. It's been years!!

**Luke is really into "selfies" right now. Here are a few of many.

**What trip to Yosemite isn't complete without roasting hot dogs and marshmallows?

**Sequoia Forest

**Whenever this happens in the car you know it's been a good day!
