Welcome home Laura Lynn!

We just spent a fun week in Southern California with all of my family. That’s right all 22 of us. My darling sister Laura got home from her 18 month LDS mission in Korea. We were all at the airport to greet her.

The kids "patiently" waiting...Did you know it takes two hours to clear customs from Korea?

We spent a day at my parent’s house before heading to San Clemente. They just built this beautiful home. Check out that pool & view! They also just sold it, so it was nice to get some use out of the pool before they leave it.
That's Ollie floating in the middle of the hot tub. He isn't drowning I promise =)

Carson's first time using water wings and goggles. His goggles were full of water the entire time, but he wouldn't take them off. He is now an expert at swimming with water wings. He is such a crazy man in the pool. We were able to relax a little more with the water wings.

We all stayed at the San Clemente Inn for the week. We had a lot of fun together as a family. Too bad the weather wasn’t on our side…It poured on and off all week. We went to Disney Land one day. It was Carson’s first trip and he loved it. Two (and two months for Luke) is still a little young to fully enjoy Disney Land, but we had fun regardless. We thought he’d love the Buzz Lightyear ride, but learned it was too scary. He wasn’t scared of Pirates. His favorite was the Jungle Cruise & running around on Tom Sawyer Island.

The whole group!
We spent some time at the beach, the pool, and did other things to entertain the kids like Chuck E Cheese and the petting zoo… Mostly we just hung out and visited with each other. I am very lucky to have 5 sisters and 1 brother. There are always so many people to talk to and have fun with at family get togethers. Things are especially fun now that 5 out of the 7 of us are married. I love getting to know my brother-in-laws and sister-in-law better. My parents work very hard to put these trips together for us and I am tremendously grateful!

Ollie and Carson with their new goggles. So funny!

Carson was a little hesitant with feeding the animals. He much preferred me doing it.

Nothing like playing on the rail road tracks

A plus was my cousin Andrea and her family live down there now too, so we were able to spend time with them as well. She is an AMAZING photographer and took pictures of Luke. Those will be posted as soon as I get them. We also were able to take a family picture (it’s been a while) and when my Mom gets those pictures I’ll post them too.

she is back??? OOh my gosh! Welcome back Laura! That's insane that it has already been 18 months!!! I love all the pictures, by the way. I would SO love seeing some final pics of your parent's masterpiece, by the way. Can't believe it already sold, wow.

We need to do some serious catching up.
