Not So Merry...

We had the Shell Christmas Party today. Carson loved the bounce house, popcorn machine, and treats, but when it came to sitting on Santa's lap...

That was a no go.


He was okay with taking the candy. He's no fool.

That is hilarious! Every year since we had Abby I have made my kids take pictures with Santa. It never fails around 2 years old I get the picture with them screaming and reaching for me. I tell Santa before the picture to hang on tight just for a second! I'm sure it was a bit scary for my kids but they have all come around! And looking back at those pictures is priceless! Good job snapping that shot of him even though he was screaming! Hopefully you can look back later on and laugh! Good luck on the new baby coming! Hopefully he will come soon, for your sake!

I'll bet Santa's have to be very self-secure people to do that job! I couldn't face that kind of rejection from kid after kid! Maybe that Santa's in it for the candy too?

LOL! Jackson talks the talk, but still won't sit on Santa's lap. He will hug him, talk to him, or maybe sit near him, but no way on his lap... It cracks me up. I LOVE the screaming kid and santa photos. Thanks I needed the laugh and pleasure that Carson's photos brought.

Leah! I can't believe how much of a big kid Carson is. What a little cutie. I love that he insisted on the "cool" ladder, so funny. Also, I can't believe you are in due in 3 1/2 weeks!!!! We need to catch up sometime before then! :)
