More pictures my cousin Andrea took
Andrea and her family were leaving my parent's house when I got there. She was able to snap a few shots of Carson before they left.

Videos from Grandma & Grandpa's
Two cute videos taken while I was at my parents house last week. I especially love the one of Oliver and Carson in the car grocery cart my Dad was pushing. Anytime Oliver was anywhere near Carson, Carson would just crack-up. He thinks Ollie is the funniest person in the world!

Visiting Mom and Dad in LC
Carson and I are at my parent's house for the week. At the beginning of the summer I found flights from Oakland to Long Beach for $29.00 each way and snatched them right up. I was actually considering not coming b/c we've been out of town so much lately and Carson's day and night time sleeping has really suffered. Steve is very busy at work (in the middle of a turn around) so we decided to come. My sisters Becky and Laura are living here right now, along with Ryan and Oliver. Carson has had a lot of fun playing with his big boy cousin. We haven't done much, which is fine with me. It is so nice to take it easy and visit with family.--It has been ridiculously hot here. Yuck! Carson is in that painful stage where he climbs up on everything and falls down. Poor guy! It doesn't help that my parents have only tile and hardwood in there house. Today at church he bonked his head so hard, there were gasps from women in the congregation. He had a sweet goose egg to show for it though. We are here until Tuesday night, then it is home sweet home again. Side note I am legal again. It has been three months and my licence has been un-suspended. Hurray! I hate not being able to drive. Hopefully I'll never have to do it again. Thanks to all of you who chauffeured me around town.

Eight Month Update
So much has changed over the last month. I have two bottom teeth and they are very sharp. I love to chew on people’s fingers, but for some reason they won’t let me anymore! I am crawling too. I’ve gotten really good at it. I love being able to crawl from one side of the room to the other. I am making all sorts of messes now. I like to take all the CDs and DVDs out from the TV armoire and scatter them. I also love to unwind the toilet paper in the bathroom. Mom and Dad can’t keep up with me, I am unstoppable! I’ve discovered that I can pull myself onto things. I climb walls and furniture and anything else I can. I am falling down A LOT now. It hurts and scares me, but after Mom or Dad cuddles me a little bit I am right back up. I am getting bumps and bruises all over my body. I love solid foods. I can’t eat my rice cereal fast enough and love all my baby food. This past week Mom’s been letting me eat little rice puffs. She puts one at a time in my mouth and I try to chew it just like a big boy. My napping and night time sleeping isn’t the best. I’ve been grumpy lately because I am getting more teeth. Mom says I should be taking two long naps a day- but I still want three shorter ones. I should be sleeping through the night now, but I still like to get up and eat. I am not as good as I was at going to sleep on my own. Mom and Dad said that I developed some bad sleeping habits because we’ve been out of town so much. I love to go to the store with Mom. It is really fun to sit in the cart and see all the lights, colors and people. I am a very good boy in the car now. My new favorite sound is “guh”. I say it all the time and am proud I can make the G sound. I like to join in on conversations and love to sing along when Mom sings to me or when the congregation sings at church. I've discovered my ears this month and am constantly pulling and tugging at them. I want Mom and Dad to either hold me or play with me all the time. I can be quite demanding. My new favorite game is peek-a-boo. I love to be tickled under my arms, the tops of my thighs, on my feet, and on the back of my ribs. I love when my Dad throws me in the air and I love to go upside down. Mom says I am a adrenaline junkie! ( I had to do 3 pictures this time. I started undressing him and thought he was so cute in his shirt and tie I had to snap another shot.)

Happy 30th Steve!!
In my family when it's your birthday everyone sends you a "why I love you" email. I thought I'd share mine to Steve on this monumental birthday of his... (The big 3-0 if you weren't aware. I know I'm married to a middle aged man!)
To start off my “why I love Steve” entry I’d like to share a top ten list of things you might not know about Steve. These are some of the things that make Steve such a unique and great individual.
1. Been knocked unconscious 8 times.
2. Secretly loves the bands Chicago, ABBA, and Aqua and will belt it out in the car.
3. Would choose In & Out or Little Caesars over just about any other restaurant.
4. Usually wakes up at 5 am every morning to run, then goes to work at 6 am.
5. Swore he’d never use baby talk but now says things like “nappy nap” and Poopy diapee”.
6. Loves candy but only the original flavors, no tropical or specialty varieties.
7. Was valedictorian of his high school class.
8. Loves to read and often reads the same novels over and over.
9. World’s loudest sneezer.
10. Takes pride in our lawn and works hard to have the greenest lawn on the street.
There are so many reasons I love Steve and why his is perfect for me. First off Steve is my best friend. He is the person I want to spend my time with and experience everything with. Steve takes amazing care of Carson and I. He is very responsible and always thinks everything through. I don’t have to worry about a lot of things because I know he has already taken care of it. Steve is an amazing Dad. He is always willing to help with Carson and loves his son so much. Steve is fun! He knows how to have a good time. Steve is diligent when it comes to his church responsibilities. He never misses a month of home teaching and is a great ward clerk. Steve is a great employee and works hard. He is also very handy. He can do a lot around the house and what he can’t do he researches and learns how to do it. Steve is very supportive of all that I do. He encourages me and helps me accomplish my goals. I am so lucky to have Steve as my husband (even though he is 30 now!) Happy birthday baby!
The picture is Steve with his favorite, Dairy Queen ice cream cake. It is obviously his favorite because a large piece was cut off before I could take a picture.

Twin Lakes 2009
Two days after the reunion we flew to Washington to go to Twin Lakes for the week. The same week every summer Steve’s family goes to Twin Lakes for a week. The same 20+ families go up together every year. The weather was rainy and Steve got the flu there, but other than that we had a good time. We did get a little ski/wake boarding time in between storms and a fussy baby. Carson was not a fan of the life jacket, but as long as the boat was moving he was okay. I’m very glad to be home now. It takes months to develop a sleeping /napping pattern for a baby and just a few days on vacation to destroy it.It is so nice having him back in his own crib and having him sleep better (and us too!)
Tour of AT&T Park/Giants Game
All of Steve’s family left Saturday morning except his sister Janelle and her husband and girls. There is a man in our ward who is VP of guest relations for the Giants and we were able to get great tickets from him. Before the game Rick gave us an amazing tour of the stadium and all it’s facilities. We saw the players warming up, the special party rooms and boxes, the jail and first aid (which looks like a hospital, and so much other cool stuff. We felt so important seeing all the executive areas and behind the scenes stuff. It was by far the coolest baseball game I've ever been to. (Not too hard because I haven't been to too many major league baseball games.)
Bonner Family Reunion 2009
This year for our FR we decided to do it right here in California. So all 11 adults and 16 kids spent the week doing all the fun Bay Area stuff. Steve’s parents and his Aunt stayed at our house while everyone else stayed in a local hotel. The family the festivities began on Tuesday at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. The older kids loved the roller coasters while the younger kids loved the new Thomas the Train area.
Wednesday we went to Stinson Beach. It was a little chilly, but that didn’t even phase the Washington/Oregon kids who spent the whole day in the freezing water.
Thursday we went into San Francisco. We spent a few hours in the morning at Alcatraz. After we went to Pier 39, Lombard Street, and walked on the Golden Gate Bridge.
Friday morning everyone went on a tour at the Jelly Belly factory. That afternoon we had a barbecue and pool party at our friend’s home. Thanks Gorings! It was a really fun reunion and everyone had a great time!
