School Days are Here Again!

The Bus just came and picked up Carson. He will be going to preschool 3 times a week this year. Luke and I don't know what to do with ourselves!

Luke was ready to go too. He was not happy with me when I made him go in the house .

The Diaper Fairy came by to visit

The Diaper Fairy came last week. I told Carson he was going to be in the neighborhood and if we wrapped up all his diapers in a box and left it on the doorstep the Diaper Fairy would come by and pick it up and leave him a special present. When he woke up from his nap he heard the door bell ring.

A letter from him (is it weird that I think the Diaper Fairy is a man?) 

It is going okay. We still aren't all the way there, but all the diapers are gone and he is wearing underwear!

Classic

The Shell family picnic was at a waterpark this weekend. The boys had THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES, so we decided to go ahead and buy passes for next year. Here is Carson's pass. I had to scan it and share. Yep, classic Carson at this age.

PS--Any of you locals get a pass too and we can go together!! You can use it for the next four weekends of this year and all of 2013.

Carson has a police car toy that plays 5 seconds of the COPS theme song when you push a button. He was making me push it over and over again so I decided to get the song off youtube.

The Island of Heaven

Last night during bedtime scriptures with Carson:

C- "Where does Jesus live"

L- "Remember, Jesus lives in Heaven with Heavenly Father"

C- "Ollie lives there too?"

L- "No honey, Ollie does not live in Heaven"

C- "Yea Mom, Ollie lives on Island of Heaven" (Ollie always refers to where he lives as THE ISLAND  of Hawaii)

L- "It's the island of Hawaii, not the island of Heaven"

C- "Oh Hawaii"

I know there are many people who compare Hawaii to Heaven, but I thought it was important to clear this one up.

Hawaii here we come!

We booked our tickets today for early fall. Yippy! I can't wait to go stay with Becky and her family. Carson is going to be in heaven with not only his cool big boy cousin Oliver, but warm ocean water too.
